"Digital Graffiti"
As the darkest months of the year fell upon Columbia, its darkest, most colorless walls became bathed in the beautiful artwork and inspiring poetry of thirty-eight local artists from USC and the broader Columbia Community. No less than nine productions showcased the haiku of Charlene Spearen, Colena Corbett, Bhavin Tailor and John Starino, inspired by the tastes, sounds and deeply running emotions that invigorate winter. The works of thirty-four local visual artists bathed the sharp contours with their inspiring artwork. Locations for this event included the walls of the Adluh Flour Building, the Russell House, buildings on Richland Medical Park Road, the Booker T. Washington Lab Theater, and buildings on Main Street.
This project was sponsored by the Arts Institute at the University of South Carolina.
